Debbie Davis

Hi, my name is Debbie, and I am a BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist, based in Colchester, Essex.

I am a person-centred psychotherapist, who works in a humanistic way, with my clients always being the centre of my focus.

To reach as many clients as possible and be as inclusive as possible, I understand that in-person sessions are not always preferable.

Therefore, when undertaking my training, it was essential to have as many skills and additional training as possible so that I could also offer Zoom and telephone sessions.

Addiction, Anxiety, Chronic fatigue, disability, Eating disorders, Loss and grief, Identity issues, menopause and perimenopause, phobias, self-esteem, stress, sexuality, work-related issues, depression, post-traumatic stress, relationships, stress, trauma, neurodiversity.

What I can Help With:

I invite you to discuss any adjustments needed to provide a therapeutic space in which to work. (Such as ramps/lighting adjustments/venues). My therapy venues are all physically accessible. If you need longer for a session due to a disability, I am happy to include this in my regular price. 3rd parties such as dogs/interpreters/parents are welcome with permission.  Please ask me anything to make the therapeutic space as comfortable as possible.
